Trends of 2024

For the ones that are fashion-seekers, the new season begins with the fashion trends. Here are the 2024 trends hitting JAYNE this year. 

Bows/Rosettes 

Bows in your hair, bows on your clothing, bows added to your shoes. Let’s dress like we’re going to ballet practice. Bows will add a girliness and a sweetness to any look. 

Crochet

We’re talking coastal grandma, we’re talking “oh-so-darling,” we’re talking crochet! Now, if you have the talent of whipping out your crochet hook and making magic, then maybe use this as inspiration for your next project! For those of us that are not as crafty, there will be no shortage of pieces this year! 

Neon’s/Color Play

Move over monochrome. Unexpected mixes of colors taking over. Stylists are reaching for something more bold for Spring. Neon’s, pastels, just let it be color!

Whites, but not the Winter kind 

Now I know we said monochrome isn’t hitting as hard this season but that doesn’t mean certain colors aren’t grabbing our attention when working together. Valentino gave hot pink a well-deserved moment, so what’s next? White. Not ivory, or cream. Stark white.

Western

Western tie-ins are going nowhere, but they are getting edgier. Think Johnny Cash, “Man in Black.”

Skincare

Skincare is not just for your face. Show your body some love. Glowing skin is your greatest ally in 2024!

Chrome/Sleek Silver

Metallics straight from the future. Shimmer and shine. Shoes or accessories are an easy way to incorporate this flashy fashion trend more subtly. 

Large Floral Prints/Large Florals 

Florals, while definitely not groundbreaking, Thank you Miranda Priestly, however when it comes to florals, designers are leaving the printed fabrics behind and opting for something a little more dramatic. Creating large embroidery, cut-outs, multidimensional florals, knitted rosettes, and untraditional shapes. Or what Harper’s Bazaar is calling “wallpaper florals.”

Stripes, Striped, Striping

Nautical or not, stripes come in all widths, angles, and colors this season. A truly timeless staple, stripes are easier than ever to incorporate into your wardrobe.
